I like the weight of the cloth. dont know the technical terms, but its a thicker, heavier weave that hangs nice and comfortable on my frame. many t shirts are rather thin and wear quickly. this one wears well, in my experience.
I find the hat to be very comfortable, with a cut that fits nicely without being overly large. There are three branding points: the Adidas logo on the front of the hat is a rubberized appliqu, a similar rubber tag with a much smaller Adidas logo on the back cinch strap, and a minimally obvious "Climalite" logo on the cap's upper brim. Climalite is Adidas' brand line referring to products that wick sweat away from the body and onto the outer surface of the product where it can quickly evaporate. Another plus for this hat is that it doesn't have a little button at the very top; inevitably those buttons hurt when you hit the top of your head (maybe getting into a sports car, or perhaps when you stand up too quickly after picking up your cellphone, which dropped under the table) so it's nice not to have that as even a remote possibility. And on my first day in the bright late summer sun, my head was unblemished and sweat-free even after quite a few hours outside. A good start for this cap!
Theres also a tab that aids in getting cards out of the slots. The tab failed when I put my the cards in the first time, so the tab just dangles without retracting. It would be nice if mine worked as the card are pretty tight in the wallet.
I do like the slim design and the ease of just using the outside slots, but with poor craftsmanship showing right from the first use its not one I would purchase again.
I put these on for a nice 45 minute run on a flat track and I feel 30 minutes in some rubbing in the side of my foot. Stupidly I continued running and when I got back I found a blister under the right ball of my left foot. I haven't been able to run for week and have had to miss two ultimate frisbee practices and one tournament.
DON'T RUN IN THESE. I barely would recommend walking in them.
