I always thought that glass lenses were too heavy in these larger styles. I have a pair of Maui Jim "Island Time" and after a few hours my nose is red where they sit. These Peahi's can be worn all day and they are still comfortable. I think it comes down to the fit. If they fit right, the weight isn't noticeable and they don't cause discomfort. The trouble is, when you initially try glasses on, they may feel great (my Island Times feel great the first 30 min) but after a few hours the discomfort starts. The ability to return or exchange becomes very important.
