First thing I did was throw away the shoulder strap. I would never use the bag this way, and I greatly dislike the way the handles plus the long strap look together when I see women carrying bags like that. I think it looks silly to have extra handles on a purse for no reason.
I got the bag because of the huge bow, and also because it came in red. I wouldn't consider buying this in any other color. The style of the bag, in my opinion, was developed with red in mind, and the other colors were probably an afterthought.
One reviewer referred to this as patent leather. Please note that it is NOT glossy shiny patent leather at all. It's pretty matte with only the slightest bit of shine to it.
