The leather is stunning- high-quality with an amazing antique finish that ends up looking better as you wear it.
This design is simple and very comfortable tucked under my arm (I wear it without the optional long strap), it's easy to get in and out of with the magnetic closure- and is exactly what I was looking for.
I have two of this style in different colors and a couple Frye Melissa satchels, which I don't like as well as this Melissa Hobo due to the satchel being heavier and harder to get in and out of.
Also, I want to note that this most recent Frye bag of mine did NOT come with a signature Frye key fob as my other bags had in the past. I called Frye customer service and was told that the newer designs do not come with the key fob anymore, but the rep was very kind to send me a matching complimentary one for my bag free of charge.
The sizing seems correct, a little large on a 2 year old but fits well enough with room to grow. The thickness is good, keeps her warm and cozy, and there's a button near the neck that keeps it snug.
