On a positive note, the frames are great! I could spend $75 bucks on more crappy lenses from Bolle, but I think I've learned my lesson.
I have had to buy him 3 more since he got his first pair because he likes them so much!! He fell in love with them when an entire gallon of bleach spilled on him at work and the pants never changed color! They hold up extremely well in the wash, against the heat of the kitchen, and constant moisture of the dish room.
Pros:
Baggy fit makes it easy to move around the kitchen
Multiple pockets that are nice sized allow for phone, keys, radios, wallets, and other items to all be safely stowed away while cooking.
Drawstring holds them up well and allows for quicker time in the restroom (his words, not mine)
Material stays black even when bleached accidentally or washed 2 times a week for a year.
Cons:
They are polyester so they can restrict airflow a bit to the nether-regions.
My husband complained of "monkey butt" for the first couple of weeks that he wore these, but has not since.
His recommendation is to wear boxer briefs with them and keep Butt Paste around the house just in case.
Also, the sizing is a bit of a tricky thing. The Large says it is for waists 37 and the X-Large says it is for 41, this is a huge difference in size as you can tell. My husband is a 38. He prefers the X-Large because he says the waist of the Large was too snug and bothered him. The drawstring on the elastic waist helps to keep his pants up, but it would be nice to have a size in between these two.
I was expecting boxers with the single seam in the back.
